Candle Care
We recommend the following tips for burning your new candle:
Sculptural Candles
- Before lighting your candle place it on a heat resistant dish or candle plate that will collect wax that may drip.
- Make sure to trim wick before each use
- Be sure you place your candles away from any drafts or fans
- Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.
Glass Jar Vessels:
- Make sure your glassware candles melt all the way across during your first use to avoid sinkholes
- Don’t burn a candle all the way down, for safety measure ensure you stop burning a candle when
there is 1⁄4 inch of wax left in the vessel
- Burn for only 3-4 hours at a time
- We recommend that you trim wick 2-3 cm from the surface of the wax before every use to ensure a
consistent smoke-free flame
- Always ensure you never leave your burning candles unattended. Be sure to extinguish all candles
first using a candle snuffer if available as it’s the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering onto other surfaces and prevent fires and burns.
